Hello and welcome to my website!

Thanks for wondering who I am and reading about me.

I was born and raised in the south of Turkey in a big city called Adana.

 

After a considerable competition in the University Entrance Exam, I had the chance to study at Hacettepe University, which is one of the best universities in Turkey.

​

I completed my Bachelor's of Social Work degree in 2014. After getting my degree, I started to work at the Family Ministry of Turkey.

While working as a social worker in child welfare, I started my Master's Degree in Social Work at Hacettepe University again and completed my MSW in 2017.

 

After working in the government in Turkey for three years and having private practice experiences as well, I turned a new chapter in my life, and moved to Toronto in 2019.

My Work

I am working primarily with youth (16-29), 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, newcomers and motor vehicle accident clients. I have expertise in needs assessment, service planning, group or individual counselling sessions, service coordination, referring to community resources and case management.

 

I am passionate about building trust and rapport. I am using an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, non-judgmental, client-centered approach with warm interpersonal skills.​
